Urgent Care Physician MD/DO Location: Various - Renton| Covington| Maple Valley
Valley Medical Center (VMC) is actively recruiting contract Urgent Care Physicians to join our area clinics in our collaborative network where you will have easy access to system-wide support as you work alongside a highly motivated and skilled Urgent Care team. We provide patient-centered, team-based care to a diverse population of patients.
This is NOT a travel assignment
About the position:
Clinic Hours - Open 7 days/week (8a-8p M-F, 8a-4p Sa-Su)
General Schedule - 12-hour shifts M-F; 8-hour shifts Sa-Su
Average number of patients seen per day 25-30; average peak Flu/Cold slightly higher 30-35
Support staff - average 3 PSRs per shift, 5 MAs, 3 providers
Practitioners - At least one physician is staffed with APPs (ARNP/PA) per shift
2-3 shifts per week strongly preferred
Qualifications:
BE/BC in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine
Ability to obtain medical professional license in the State of WA and DEA with full prescriptive authority
Two years of urgent care experience strongly preferred

COMPENSATION: $180/hour
