Obstetrician-Gynecologist, MD/DO Full-Time, Location: Renton, WA


Valley Medical Center (VMC) is actively recruiting a full-time (1.0 FTE) Obstetrician-Gynecologist to join our established, collaborative, and collegial team of providers. Our approach to patient-centered care is team-based.


Care includes all aspects of OB and GYN but is not limited to clinic consults, follow ups, general women's care, in-office procedures, prenatal OB care, deliveries, and high-risk obstetrics with consultation from perinatology service.

 
About the position:
  • Clinic Hours 8-5
  • General Schedule- 4-day work week
  • Call – ~4-5x/month – 1-2 weekend days (F,S,S); rotating through a Friday every 10 weeks, fixed weekday call
  • 3 providers on call at a time - 180-200 deliveries/month 
  • Average # of patients per day – 24-28
  • Dedicated MA
  • Support staff - RN Triage/Advice, LCSW, dedicated Surgery Schedulers 
  • Practitioners - 16 physicians (2 are in-clinic only), 3 Laborists, 2 PA’s, 4 ARNP’s, 6 CNM’s
  • Referral to Lactation consultants in the hospital – pre and post OB consults
Qualifications:
  • BE/BC in Obstetrics & Gynecology 
  • Ability to obtain medical professional license in the State of WA and DEA with full prescriptive authority

COMPENSATION: $365,000
